During 58th Campus Placement Programme held for newly qualified CAs of the May 2023 examinations, witnessed an overwhelming response, with 169 organizations offering a total of 2,713 jobs, out of which 2,105 were accepted by our members.

The highest salary offered for domestic postings reached Rs 23.70 lakhs per annum, while for international postings, it soared to an impressive Rs 49.20 lakhs per annum. The average salary across the placements stood at an impressive Rs 11.17 lakhs per annum.

“The data reflects the demand for the exceptional skills and knowledge possessed by our newly qualified Cas,” according to a statement from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in India (ICIA).

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) provides an opportunity both to employing organisations as well as young professional aspirants / experienced professionals to meet and explore the possibility of taking up positions in Industry.

The Second Round Campus Placement Programme was aimed at providing placement opportunities to the Newly Qualified CAs who missed to get job during the main Campus Placement Programme held in Aug-Sept 2023. The interviews for the same were conducted through virtual mode from 30th October to 6th November.

The Committee for Members in Industry and Business (CMI&B) acts as a facilitator to bring the recruiter and newly qualified CAs together. CMI&B was formed with an objective to consider matters affecting members in service in particular to consider the problems relating to career planning, ethics and other related matters, to consider the ways and means to enhance the participation of members in service in the affair of the Institute, to provide an employment service both for benefit of member seeking employment in Industry and prospective employers, to explore and develop fresh avenues of employment for Members in industry.

In the 57th Campus Placement Programme held February and March 2023, 189 organizations offered a total of 5,800 jobs, out of which 4248 were accepted by the members.  As many as 10228 has participated in the campus placement programme.
